In case one wonders what the three day IAS event is all about, it is all about getting funds to help finance David Miscavige's pockets and also to renovate old historical buildings, calling them "churches" of scientology. Money is also needed to pay for Private Investigators to follow ex members and keep an eye on what they are up to.
One big question should indeed be asked if Scientology can afford to donate 50,000 pounds to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, how much money do they manage to rob their congregation of in three days, let alone the next 362 days of each year.
